About the Role:
Medical Imaging Partners in Arcadia, CA is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Records/Front Desk Receptionist to join our team! This dynamic role combines patient-facing reception, scheduling coordination, and medical records management — making every day both engaging and impactful. Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients at the front desk, ensuring a positive and professional first impression
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, responding to patient inquiries promptly and courteously
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments for medical imaging procedures
- Maintain and organize electronic medical records (EMR) with accuracy and confidentiality
- Process medical records requests, including retrieval, release, and distribution of patient information in compliance with HIPAA
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays at time of service
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient daily operations
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a medical office, front desk, or healthcare administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance regulations
- Experience with medical scheduling software and/or Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) a plus

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

AMI has been providing efficient, high quality, personalized service for over 35 years. As an IAC accredited facility, we are committed to using state of the art equipment and procedures to obtain high quality images, and to report findings to referring physicians as quickly as possible.
In addition to our New 3T Large Bore MRI scanner, we also have Multi-slice CT, Ultrasound, and X-Ray. We strive to accommodate our patients and referring physicians by offering first-available appointments, and same day appointments for emergent cases. CT, Ultrasound and X-ray appointments are often available same day or next day and walk-ins for CT, Ultrasound and X-ray can often be accommodated when advance preparations are not required.
Staff
Our Radiologists:
- Are board certified by the American Board of Radiology
- Are on site to oversee scan protocols for each patient
- Will call or fax results immediately for urgent (STAT) cases and upon request for routine cases
Our Highly Skilled, Certified, Technical Staff:
- Are experienced and friendly, offering personalized care for each patient
- Averages over 15 years of technologist experience
Our Efficient Office Staff:
- Offers flexible appointment scheduling with priority for emergencies
- Hand delivers reports and CDs the next business day to San Gabriel Valley physicians, upon request
- Handles all billing in-house and are available to answer billing questions
- Speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and Spanish
